Byron Bay, August 2003

The first stop on my travels up the east coast from Sydney was Byron Bay. And my first order of business was to take a surfing lesson at the Byron Bay Surf School.

I was a natural, of course (um, of course NOT, I mean) but I did get up on my board and ride a wave into shore THREE TIMES!
