Gold Coast, August 2003

From Byron, I took the bus up to Surfer's Paradise on the Gold Coast. Wynsomme picked me up from the station and I stayed with her and Juris for a week in nearby Nerang.

I had a lovely time on the Gold Coast, doing another surf class, hanging out on the beach, going to the mountains, going on a night walk to check out the glow worms and even going on a motorcycle ride in the mountains!

	Wynsomme and Juris took me to O'Reilly's National Park to do the treetop walk. We also did a nice hike around the park.
	O'Reilly's has a huge, friendly bird population. Rosellas and king parrots land all over everyone who wanders in range, looking for food.
