My birthday

For my birthday, I decided to take the bus out to Watson's Bay and do a lovely walk.

This is the "clothing optional" beach that I was walking along as I talked to my sister. It was too cold for a bathing suit, never mind anything less. The green promontory there is the spot where Cook set up his first camp in Sydney.

I walked out to South Head, to the lighthouse there.
|

It was a gorgeous day. Sailboats skipping across the water. Bright sunshine.

Andrea made me a birthday cake from mini chocolate bars and gave me a Gourmet Chocolate cookbook.

So I blew out the 28 candles. And was winded.
